The Library is one of the most charming rooms in the Abbey. With its restored period fireplace, original bookshelves, and warm wood panelling, it carries a sense of timeless elegance that feels both grand and welcoming.
Licensed for civil ceremonies with seating for up to 120 guests, the Library is also perfect for more intimate weddings choosing a private dining setup for 50. Many of our couples use the Library for their ceremony before moving to the Great Hall for the reception.
The room flows naturally into the Lounge and the main hallway, making it easy to host reception drinks, canapes, or guest mingling without losing the cosy atmosphere.
