Our classic afternoon tea is only £21.95 per person or upgrade to a Prosecco afternoon tea for just £27.95 per person. Please note that 48 hrs notice is required for afternoon tea.

Vale Royal Abbey offers a magnificent venue for your celebration or event. The historical splendour of the abbey alongside our friendly and professional service provides the perfect mix of formality, relaxation and enjoyment for any occasion.
Drenched in history and charm, Vale Royal Abbey will quite simply, take your breath away and when you book your event with us, we will be with you from start to finish to guide you through your event.
There are three spectacular rooms to choose from, The Great Hall, The Library and our Lounge Bar.
The Great Hall is the focal point of the Abbey and is ideal for larger events providing a stunning arena for you and your guests. The room is totally adaptable to any environment and can seat up to 150 guests for a dining function.
Adjacent to the Great Hall is The Library. This smaller room gracefully compliments the Great Hall and is used for more intimate events. Seating up to 60 guests for a dining function can be used as a reception room to the Great Hall.
The Lounge Bar has its own private bar and overlooks the 18-hole golf course. This delightful room is perfect for small intimate occasions or as a reception area for larger events requiring the use of the Great Hall and Library.

A relaxed setting with its own bar, the Lounge overlooks the 18-hole golf course and is perfect for more intimate parties. The Lounge bar adjoins The Library so is also an ideal reception area for larger events which use both rooms.
Approached via a mile-long driveway and surrounded by beautiful countryside, our open courtyard makes an impressive arrival setting.
If the weather allows, drinks can be served on the well-manicured lawns which are also the perfect setting for photographs.
Inside, the beauty and splendour Vale Royal Abbey will surpass all expectations. We have three stunning rooms which can accommodate parties of up to 250 guests.
